According to what I've heard, these people aren't kidnapped, but manipulated into the service. Sigma is different. And the battle was a while ago. It's why York was in a coma.

We... didn't tell you when it was happening because it was safer for you not to know. Now though... I'm glad you know you care enough to be so worried. Do... you want to see him?

Theta's not having a party in the middle of all this, is he? I mean...I mean... Yeah I'd...sure. I'd like to see him. He was gonna have a lunch with me and like...show me some pictures. From uh. Back in the day. I didn't think anything of it when we didn't make any further plans about it...
